YUCK!!!!

Houston did it!!! Poo Poo in the tub.. I was letting Houston hang out in the tub for a while because Adron wasn't in the tub with him and look what happens... Yuck!!! Thanks to Grammy she got it all cleaned up for me while we got out and got pj's on. Thanks Grammy!

Down on the Farm

Adron and Aunt Cassie helped Uncle Matt farm on Wed. night. Matt doesn't have time to stop so you gotta just jump on. I watch Owen and Houston, we had fun watching. Houston loves to pick on Owen. Adron did really well, I was suprised that he got on. He told us that he wanted to do that again.

Kid friendly lunch

You never know what you are going to have for lunch here. To many kids around. Yesterday we had Octopus stew that Riley made us... ummmm yummy!!

Baseball time....

The first day Houston was still on our time in NC so he woke up at 6 a.m. While Adron had stayed up until 10:30 and I had to make him go to bed, way to excited. I'm very tired! We went outside at 8:30; it felt like 10:30 I was already for lunch. At Grammy's house she has so much to play with so we went outside to play in the back. We played baseball for hours, while Grandma Longbons (mom's mom) and Grammy Lesa, Houston and baby Owen watch. Riley, Katie, Adron and I had a fun time running the bases and hitting the ball.

Over to Papaw's house

On Tuesday morning the boys and I started our trip to Albion for a fun 2-week vacation. Two flights a long ride to St. Louis where papaw we there to pick us up. Three more hours in the car before see saw the church that I grew up in. Houston loved the ride in the sky; Adron had fun once he saw his papaw. I on the hand was tired, ready to eat, and was hot for lugging two kids around.

Our first adventure was Adron talked papaw into playing golf. They went to the $ store to get there golf stuff. Their first trip lasted 5 minutes. He was so proud of his golf bag. After they got outside he broke everything, so it was back to the store to return them and get a new set. 5 minutes after getting home the 2nd was broken. The golf experience was over.

Nathan has been out of town for the past 5 days. I'm just about to pull my hair out. But I was able to get a few pictures of all the "fun times" we have had.

Houston has been
crying all the time because he got two teeth in
crying because he really wants to crawl and he can only go backwards
telling us big stories at any eating time so breakfast lunch and dinner take 2 hours.
waking up at 5 am to have a family meeting
giving me lots of hugs and kisses because he really is the sweetest baby.

Adron has been
picking at his brother
jumping on the beds and taking all the covers off so he can really bounce
making Houston laugh during breakfast lunch and dinner so it takes 2 hours
jumping off the side of the pool when I tell him not to... No Fear!

being really sweet at bed time and put him self to sleep so I can have some time to myself.

Nathan comes home late tonight; I'm looking forward to a relaxing day at the spa tomorrow. Then it's off to Grammy, and papaws house on Tuesday. As Adron would say "it's off to another adventure".

Today at breakfast Houston showed us that he had 2 more teeth up top. I was wondering why he had gotton up at 5 am crying for the past 2 nights.

Father's Day

Macey and the boys treated me right on Father's Day. We started the day out at church...always fun. We ate lunch at Outback, our family favorite. That's where Macey and I ate on our first date. We all took a nap in the afternoon. Whoohoo!

Sunday night we went to Leatherman Golf miniature golf course. We had the greatest time. Adron cracks us up with his golf intensity. He led the way showing us each hole. He always starts at the beginning then picks his ball up and plays it close to the hole. We had a good time laughing and playing together. Houston loves his baby bjorn. It doesn't matter what we do as long as he can watch Adron he's ok. Adron is on a polite streak these days. As we were leaving he said, "Thanks for taking me golf Mommy Daddy." It doesn't get any better than that. On the way home we hit up Maggie Moo's Ice Cream parlor. "Chocolate please". My favorite present is a great picture frame with six pictures of me and my boys for my office wall.

Play group

Today we had play group at our place. We went to the pool at 9:45-12. The water feels really nice, Houston was having fun in his float soaking up the sun. Adron swam for hours, we stopped to eat, then back into the pool for another hour of swim time. The boys got so warn out that the slept for hours. I woke Adron up 3 different times from his nap, but it didn't work. I'm sure tonight will be a long night. Tomorrow we have another play date with Elijah. He is coming swimming with us. Cookout with daddy and his praise team in the evening.

Thanks Korah, Noah, Drew, Grace, Ava and Matthew for coming to our pool. We had fun!

Swimming Time!

Monday we went swimming here at our place. The pool is only 4 feet deep, so the water is really nice. The pool has no tree's so even Houston got in for a while.

Daddy's home!

When dad comes home it's warastle (wrestle) time! The boys can't get enough of their daddy. All 3 of us are talking to him all at once. Today I was trying to talk, as well, and couldn't get a word in so I just took pictures!

Look who is a sleep..

It's really hard to get this kid asleep. Even when he was born he didn't want to go to sleep. Now that it is pool season, this kid has had a lot of swimming time in. Last night Nathan did school work so I was home with the boys. Adron went to sleep on his own. This doesn't happen very often. I got to hang out with Houston for a while before he went to sleep. Today Adron went to sleep on the floor. Everyday we have "rest time" this means, be quite so Houston can take his afternoon nap, and watch a movie so I can get some work done. He snuggled up with his Rangers blanket and went to sleep. I had to wake him up for dinner, it was very peaceful getting super ready today. What do you bet that he doesn't go to sleep tonight....
